Camping Il Castagneto

The campsite is immersed in the famous chestnut wood of Filetto, of Lunigiana Area (see photos) and welcomes you with Piero Polli and his great passion, being his best weapon.
This campsite looks like a park, kept well in full details. Flowers, hedges, chestnut-trees and then colours and lights of swimming pools and of football-field, the wide meadows extending under the secular trees.
This campsite is really unique, offering to guest relaxing holidays in the heart of nature, but with all comforts.
Every place, reserved to tents and caravans, is bounded by hedges assuring your privacy, the chestnut-trees offer their shade protecting you from sunshine and Lunigiana Region is just there, all around, with its open space, its taste, its castles and old-villages.
You can find many sanitary services and showers scattered in the campsite and also a bar, a food-store, the swimming pools, the football-field and the playground for children.
Piero Polli, his wife Vittoria Panzeri and their sons Marino-Paolo-Giuseppe-Eugenio, with daughter-in-law Gloria and sister-in-law Rosanna, managing this paradise since 1978, created this oasis full of love for nature, for quiet, safety and cleanliness and all this is their trump card.
That’s why many Italian and Foreign guests rush up here from everywhere and every year.
